All theme wallpapers are included in the package!

-----------------------------------------------------------
Programs used for system temps!
-----------------------------------------------------------
Cpu temp:
      CoreTemp

Gpu temp:

To get the best use out of the taskbars included, I recommend using Desktop Coral.

If for some reason you find yourself needing a fresh copy of Stangowner's MSI Afterburner.dll, you should go to this page.
All information on how to install the .dll manually is presented at the top of the first post.

-----------------------------------------------------------
Different Resolutions!
-----------------------------------------------------------
I'm currently not taking resolution requests! Sorry for the inconvenience!
Max resolution I can offer is 1920 x 1080, sorry!

Resolutions made:
1920 x 1080
1680 x 1050
1600 x 900
1440 x 900
1366 x 768
1024 x 768

-----------------------------------------------------------
Versions!
-----------------------------------------------------------
v2.4.2c:
Changed Coretemp download link back to its parent website.

    ::Message to Users!::
There seem to be no more trojan warnings coming from the program's installer. If this changes again, please, anyone inform me!
I'll have a clean, safe version of the program ready for download ASAP.

v2.4.2b:
Changed Coretemp download link because of dropbox blocking my account due to too much traffic.
The file is now being hosted on Mediafire.

v2.4.2:
Changed the CoreTemp download link. This is the correct, and clean, version of CoreTemp.

v2.4.1:
Temporarily took away the resolution request button.
Removed the version history tab in the config.
Other minor changes to the config.

v2.4:
Added themes to the skins features.
Added four themes: Green, Red, Blue, and Dark Orange

v2.3:
Fixed Weather Code entry box not displaying in the proper location.
Changed how the Recycle Bin app handled displaying the 'Empty' option when showing its current size.
Better clarified how you should enter your email username and password.
Added ‘Version Information’ tab to the config.
Removed many duplicate and unused images.
Added variable so users can more easily edit the maximum number of emails that the skin will register.

v2.2:
    Added 1024 x 768 to the config.

v2.1:
Fixed minor bug that would cause swap on the system taskbar to overlap other entries.

v2.0:
New Config app that supports the new features in version 2.0
    System taskbar added.
    Program taskbar added.
Better support for the new D2D rendering engine in Rainmeter 3.0
Fixed a bug where the SWAP values would go into massive negative numbers.
Better way of making new resolutions. I'm still figuring out a way to make it 100% automatic.
Mixed weather units. Example: Celsius while using Mph for windspeed.

v1.2:
Now loads the Config.ini when installed.
    Added 1600 x 900 to the config.
Fixed positioning of the Recycle Bin meter.
Fixed random typos throughout the skin.

v1.1:
Added different resolution options to the config

v1.0:
    Initial release

-----------------------------------------------------------
Known Bugs!
-----------------------------------------------------------
When installing the skin or running the config app, Rainmeter becomes unresponsive and locks up.

Info about this bug:
Thanks to H0rwood, I've found out that the config tool is causing the issue.
At this moment I'm not quite sure what's in the config that's causing this to happen.
Currently, the work around is to force close Rainmeter. After that you should be able to edit the 'SkinVariables.inc' file and then launch the apps individually.

-----------------------------------------------------------
Theme Help!
-----------------------------------------------------------
I've added themes for the current release. So far I have green, red, blue, and dark orange themes, but I'd like to add more.

Sadly there is none. All files / wallpapers are bundled in with the download in the "AddOns" folder. I didn't make the wallpapers, I just found them and decided to make a skin for them. Maybe someone will layer everything up in a .psd so people can edit and play with other colors, but I don't know when or if that'll ever happen. Sorry about that.

Did you edit the values in the config to the proper dimensions? Both the system and program bar have their own config values. Once you do that your issue should disappear.

MSI afterburner and core temp both have to be running in order for the Temperature gauges to work. Is there a way around this?
Reply
:iconfiizzion:
FiiZzioN Featured By Owner Nov 26, 2014  Hobbyist Interface Designer
Not unless Rainmeter is made to be able to pull temps directly from the components themselves or directly from the bios itself. All Rainmeter can do is read the information from another program and display the information that it gathered. There simply isn't a way around this at this time. Rainmeter may be able to do this in the future, but I, personally, don't see this happening.

Thank you for your amazing skin sir!

I was install lastest MSI afterburner and run in the backgound, but I cannot display information about GPU temp. I had a copy msiafterburner.dll to C:\Program Files\Rainmeter\Plugins but still cannot display the temperature. how can I fix it?
and I was wondering why the "net meter" gauge bar stay low when I downloading/uploading a file, like my network traffic is not busy at all.
Can you help me sir?
thanks

If you don't have a discrete  gpu like the ones found in most desktops then it most likely won't be able to pull a temperature. This is the case with most laptop computers because they either don't have a gpu, or it's an integrated gpu tied with themotherboard. With how integrated gpu's are installed and run, they often times can't report a temperature. It's just how they're made and intended to work.

How exactly do i instal this? I know it seems like a stupid question but do i just save both of the wallpaper files or what? It says right under the links that if i have it already installed then that's all i have to do but i don't understand it.

Click the "Download" button in the upper right-hand corner of the page. After that click the installer and it'll do the rest. Be sure to install the required programs so they'll be able to show a temperature, if you don't install them it'll just read 0 degrees. Hope this answered your question!

I had the problem of gpu not functionning. I solved it when I saw that its name in msiafterburning was GPU1. So went into bloc note and replaced gpu with gpu1, all working fine since that moment. (sorry for my poor english ^^ )
Still have the problem of the bar only showing higher than 70°C ...

hello fizzion, thanks for that amazing work. I was wondering if you have a psd of the panels alone, without the wooden-like background, so I could switch the background and still keep the panels. If you don't have a psd, can you at least give me a png copy of it?

thx.

I would if I could; I didn't make the background. I found it in a imgur album with an almost literal ton of wallpapers and, sadly, there were no authors name included in said album.

I've thought about trying to delve deeper into PS, but with personal issues being present, I currently can't spend much time doing so. That's one reason why I haven't released anything in the last year despite having a multitude of ideas filling my brain.

Back on topic. If life will give me a break, I'll be able to finish the already started "final" build. Then, from there, just focus on additional colors as / if people make them and send them to me. Sorry that I can't help you more :/.

What do you know, if someone sees this and wants to make a wallpaper with the just the panels and proper dropshadow, that'd be amazing! As said previously, if I do get one with the just the panels and proper dropshadow, or also getting one with the wisp as well would be absolutely incredible. If that does happen, when life stops being a PITA and I'm able to finish this skin, both would be included without hesitation. That is, if they are up to par and not just something some rushed just to have it be included with the skin.

Well, enough about that. Sorry for going slightly off course of your OP, but I think what was presented would be wonderful for both you and myself. Hope you have a great day! If you have anymore questions, just reply here, send me a PM, or shoot me an email and I'll get back to you as soon as humanly possible!

So for the CPU temperature gauge, even though the bar itself goes higher and lower, it forever says 0 degrees C? My BIOS says my fan runs at ~40 degrees C so I'm a little confused...

Skin works great and look incredible, but when I use the weather skin. It will only show the 2 last days, and not the current day. Is that a bug or did i do something wrong. I have checked the locationcode and it's correct. I have also checked it with other cities, same result. Other then that it looks fantastic, so thx for a great skin

the location code is: NOXX0035

i can olso fint the information that should show on the webpage. so there is most likely something wrong in the code for the current day

Certainly not a bug in the code as mine still works, and apparently others still work as well, or there would be more comments saying that they had the same issue. I hate weather issues because there are two components that can go wrong, one being the RegEx being wrong, the second being the location code being entered wrong. Ok, so, if I'm able to get all three days, as well as the others that aren't having this issue, then the RegEx is still correct. I'm also still getting my correct weather information for my area, so that means that I've entered my location code correctly. Since you are getting the last two days to appear and if they are correct then that means you also entered the code in correctly.

Ok, so, the RegEx is right, so that's not the issue. The location code is entered right because we are getting the correct information for the last two days, so what does that leave? It leaves the WebParser.DLL. That specific .DLL handles all of the regular expressions that get your email counts, your weather info, or anything else that is gathered from a website and shown via Rainmeter. It's also proven that that specific .DLL likes to have a fit and not work correctly at times, just take a look below us and look at the issue TobiasMeister98 was having. It's the same issue here, but with the weather instead of emails.

The best suggestions I have for you is to completely exit Rainmeter and then restart it. If that doesn't work, try completely restarting your PC. The WebParser.DLL that comes with rainmeter isn't the most stable thing in the world. To be honest, I've had more bug reports / issues posted here about why a persons email or weather information doesn't come through than I have actually hearing about something that is GENUINELY wrong with the skin.

Sorry about the rant at the end, but, seriously, if they're (being Rainmeter) are going to keep putting this .DLL with their package then something needs to be done. I've gone over, and over, and over my regular expressions to make sure there isn't something in there that could be causing these issues, and I simply can't find one. Plus with the people saying their emails or the weather aren't showing and then magically appearing out of no where fixing the issue doesn't help content developers at all. I know there are other reasons that could make the info not appear and some would say that the WebParser.DLL isn't the issue, but that's an entirely different debate altogether.

okey, tnx for reply. I have tried restarting rainmeter, refreshing all, and restarting my computer, and still the same issue. I also whent into the webpage where the weather information is, and it looks like it also can't find the right day. The information that it show isn't on the right place. as far as I can tell.

Sorry about the little rant I had. It's just been something I've wanted to say for a while now, and, for some reason, your post was the one I chose to write it on. Anyways, back the weather issue. Can you enter this code "USGA0552", without quotations, and tell me if it's able to get all three days? That's my code and it's also a code based from America. The company / website that I currently use is based in America, so it may be that they aren't as accurate with world-wild information. If that's the case, then I'll probably end up looking for anther provider. Hopefully this will resolve itself quickly.

okey, thats wierd. i tried with a code from the US before, and had the same problem. But when i use your code i get all 3 days, but still have the problem with my code. When i looked at the xml file for my city, i could find all the information, but it didn't show on the skin. I have used other weather skins before, and have it working, but can't remember what i used

Do you happen to have two-step verification turned on? If yes, then that's the problem. You can go here, number 3, to fix the issue.

If you're not using two-step verification and you're still having issues, just contact me again and we'll figure it out.

Edit:
Now it's working somehow and I didn't even do something.... very, very strange...
